At the Teamwork FC event, Leeds United Legend, Eddie Gray MBE will be the guest speaker and will also feature a comedian and an auction of some fantastic sporting memorabilia as well as a four-course meal. Chairman's Statement Teamwork 08 is six local football teams who have formed a group on the principal of unity. The group is supported by the Barkston Ash FA and have become members of Selby Chambers of Trade and Commerce. The group originated from two clubs wanting to promote a Gentleman’s evening but felt this was too adventurous if the event was going to be a success. Four other clubs where approached and the District FA who all accepted the invitation. It became clear from the initial meeting that all the clubs had a shared vision and took this opportunity of collaboration for the benefit of their club and local football. The group usually meets twice a month in local pubs and clubs and now have a committee structure in place and are forming a constitution. The meetings are of good banter and are very informal with all decisions democratically reached. The first event is now organised and future fundraising events are to take place. Aims and Objectives.
